On behalf of BQ, I would like to thank the North Queensland Baseball, their committee, volunteers and grounds crew for hosting the 2019 U16 State Titles.
Congratulations to the 2019 U16 State Titles winners; Brisbane Metro and to the Runners-up, Brisbane North.
Baseball Queensland (BQ) acknowledge the efforts of all seven (7) teams that competed at this year’s U16 State Titles, in Cairns. BQ are blessed with not only the talent within our junior programs but also with the quality of baseball played throughout the event. Collectively we strive to build a better future for baseball and the young men and women who took the field this past weekend, represented their regions and team with passion and the spirit that the game is meant to be played.
A special thank you to the volunteers, coaches, umpires, scorekeepers, grounds team, tournament co-ordinators and the Cairns Regional Council who all went above and beyond to make this State Titles a success.
