CEO Acknowledgement: U16 and U18 Nationals

On behalf of the CEO of Baseball Queensland Paul Gonzalez and the entire board, we would like to wish everyone involved with the U16 and U18 teams best of luck in the upcoming 2019 Australian Youth Championships.

We would like to thank all the coaches for their hard work. U16 team manager David Badke, along with coaches Dan Wilson and Scott McClelland and EO Keith Land and the U18 staff consisting of manager Gareth Jones and coaches Ken McDonald and Scott Porter and EO Karina Connors have all put in great effort and will continue to help get the best out of the boys.

However, it’s not just the coaches who give their time and effort, we would also like to thank all the support staff, from the scorekeepers to the umpires, who do all they can to help our boys be the best they can be.

Last but not least, we would like to thank all the parents who have taken their time to drive the kids all over for training and games, and support them in many ways. We are grateful for all that you have done and will continue to do.

It has the makings of a great tournament, and the U16 and U18 teams are primed to represent Queensland proudly.

Women’s State Titles Review and Gallery

Women’s State Titles Review and Gallery

It was a fantastic four days of baseball in Brisbane for the 2018 Little League Girl’s, Youth Women, and Senior Women State Titles. Baseball Queensland would like to acknowledge and thank all the parents, volunteers, umpires, scorekeepers, grounds keepers, All Stars Baseball Club participants and Regions for helping to make the tournaments a rousing success.

Through the collective efforts of everyone involved and the assistance from the sun, wind and the grounds crew over the past few days, women within the sport of baseball showcased their talents for all to see.  Thank you to the 164 participants who graced us with your smiles, laughter and love for the game you have paved the way for the future of women’s baseball in Queensland, and that future is very bright.

A special acknowledgement to the Director of the Participation Mr. Geoff Wade, through his initiatives and hard work with his elected sub-committee Baseball Queensland was successful in “Building a Better Future for Baseball”

To reiterate, thanks again to everyone involved in making these state titles such a memorable event for the players and fans alike. We would also like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a happy and safe holiday season. We hope to see everyone back out on the field in 2019!
