🏗️ From building clubs to building a career… Base 🏗️ From building clubs to building a career…Baseball Queensland would like to say a huge thank you to Nick Wyllie as he steps away from his staff role as Growth and Experience Officer to focus on the next stage of his Architecture studies and professional development.Nick has made a huge impact across Queensland baseball—supporting clubs, helping volunteers find solutions, developing Club Hub as a central home for club resources and information, and helping secure hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant funding for our clubs and communities. He has been the person clubs could call when they needed a hand, an answer or sometimes just someone to help make sense of the blueprints! 📐The good news? Nick isn't leaving baseball behind. We're delighted he'll continue supporting Baseball Queensland as a volunteer adviser, particularly across facility development and special projects. It seems fitting that someone studying Architecture has spent the last few years helping us build a stronger baseball community. 😉Nick, thank you for everything you've contributed. You've certainly laid a strong foundation, and we're excited to see what you build next!Good luck with the next chapter—and don't worry, we'll try not to put too much on your floor plan. 😂⚾👏 Thank you, Nick!

Time to walk it home like you've just hit the longest bomb of your career.
Introducing your Queensland Mudcrabs touring team! Introducing your Queensland Mudcrabs touring team!Joining the Wahoos on their tour of New Zealand, these two teams are off for the latest baseball travel experience.Playing travel ball, living with your teammates, and breathing baseball is so different to your weekly club ball.Travel opportunities like the New Zealand tour are a great chance for players to develop life as an athlete in more ways than just on the diamond.
There are moments that remind our Game Development There are moments that remind our Game Development Officers exactly why they do what they do.It's the smile of a child who catches a baseball for the very first time.
The excitement of a student who discovers they're good at something they never thought they'd try.
The confidence that grows with every throw, every swing and every high five.Every day, our team travels across Queensland introducing baseball to schools, communities and families. They don't just teach the game—they create opportunities, build confidence, encourage friendships and help young people discover a place where they belong.Behind every clinic is an early start, a trailer full of equipment, countless kilometres on the road and an unwavering belief that one positive experience can change a child's future.Because today's first catch could become tomorrow's lifelong passion. To our incredible Game Development Officers—thank you for inspiring the next generation of baseballers, one school, one community and one smile at a time. ❤️⚾If you'd like to join our team of ever growing passionate coaches, get in touch today!https://www.baseballqueensland.com.au/jobs/
