There are moments that remind our Game Development There are moments that remind our Game Development Officers exactly why they do what they do.It's the smile of a child who catches a baseball for the very first time.
The excitement of a student who discovers they're good at something they never thought they'd try.
The confidence that grows with every throw, every swing and every high five.Every day, our team travels across Queensland introducing baseball to schools, communities and families. They don't just teach the game—they create opportunities, build confidence, encourage friendships and help young people discover a place where they belong.Behind every clinic is an early start, a trailer full of equipment, countless kilometres on the road and an unwavering belief that one positive experience can change a child's future.Because today's first catch could become tomorrow's lifelong passion. To our incredible Game Development Officers—thank you for inspiring the next generation of baseballers, one school, one community and one smile at a time. ❤️⚾If you'd like to join our team of ever growing passionate coaches, get in touch today!https://www.baseballqueensland.com.au/jobs/

🏆 Coach of the Month – Gary Lamb 🏆 Some coaches t 🏆 Coach of the Month – Gary Lamb 🏆Some coaches teach the game. Others create an environment where kids can't wait to come back each week.Gary Lamb does both.Fair, engaging and endlessly encouraging, Gary has become a coach that players look up to and parents deeply appreciate. He invests countless hours into developing young athletes, making sure every player feels included, challenged and, most importantly, has fun.Need an extra coach? Gary's there. Need someone to help out? Gary never says no. His willingness to volunteer, support others and step in whenever needed is a true reflection of his commitment to the baseball community. And if you've ever seen him base coaching, you'll know one of his signature moves—breaking into a dance to help players relax, focus on the next pitch and get out of their own heads. It's those little moments that remind us great coaching is about far more than wins and losses.Gary's enthusiasm is infectious, his dedication is unwavering, and the positive impact he has on young players extends well beyond the diamond.Baseball Queensland is proud to recognise Gary Lamb as our Coach of the Month. Thank you for everything you do to inspire, develop and support the next generation of baseball players.Congratulations, Gary! 👏⚾If you know a coach who deserves a shout out, spend a couple of minutes to drop them a nomination 👇
