The City of Gold Coast recognises the crucial role that the not for profit sector plays in providing sustainable services for our community.  In acknowledgement of the impacts of COVID-19 on our Gold Coast community, Council recently approved a Community and Business Support Package.  Mayor Tom Tate recently announced that the City will provide:

Covid-19 Community Grant Package

As part of the 2020-21 Budget adopted this week, Council committed $1.5 million in funding through the following two (2) grant programs:

Community Organisation Hardship Grant Program

Grant opened on Monday 22 June and closes on Friday 31 July 2020

Recovery Grant Program

$500-$5000 will be available to local community and sporting groups whose operations have been affected by Covid-19.  The purpose of this grant program is to ease the pressure being experienced and to assist groups to re-establish operations and activities. Grant opens on Wednesday 1 July and closes on Friday 31 July 2020
