When will the tournament schedule be released?
The schedule will be released the week of the tournament.

Can I enter as a club team?
Yes, BQ has traditionally let club teams enter in the Open Women’s Division 2 tournament

How do I register to play?
-If you are not a current 2023-24 full season member, please purchase a tournament specific membership HERE. This will allow you to play in the upcoming tournament only.
-If you would like to be considered for a State Representative Team, you must purchase a full season membership to travel. Purchase a full season Baseball Australia and Baseball QLD Capitation (covering you until 31 August 2024) HERE.

Will there be live-streaming?
All games will be scored on Game Changer but there will be no live-streaming for the games.

What are the tournament rules?
For all BQ tournament rules please refer to the BQ Technical Norms.

What are the age limits for the tournament?
12.1.2. Women: Competing Players must be fifteen (15) years of age prior to the commencement of the Championship. 12.1.3. Youth Women: Competing Players must be at least twelve (12) years of age prior to the commencement of the Championship but not have turned sixteen (16) years of age as of 31st December in the year the event takes place.

12.1.4. Girls: Competing Players must be 10 years of age prior to commencement of the Championship but not have turned 13 years of age as of 31 December in the year the event takes place.

12.2. It is the responsibilities of all teams that contain under-age Players to ensure all adult team personnel comply with their State’s Child Protection Legislation. In addition, please refer to the section relating to the taking of images of children

What are the Bat regulations for the tournament
39.5.3. Bats for use in Girls State Titles must feature USA Baseball marking and not exceed 2 5/8th inches in diameter.

39.5.4. Youth Women and Women State Titles – a bat may be no more than 34 inches in length; nor more than 2 5/8th inches in diameter, and if wood, not less than 15/16ths inches in diameter at its smallest part. The minimum diameter for a bat, which is less than 30” long, is 7/8ths of an inch at its smallest part.

Is there parking on-site?
Yes. There is limited parking in the All Stars Baseball Club car park, but there is plenty of street parking.

Will there be food and drink available to purchase?
Yes. All Stars Baseball club will be running a canteen.

Is smoking and alcoholic beverages allowed at the venue?
No.  Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not allowed. The facility is a Tobacco and Vape free area. Smokers are asked to leave the facility (footpath surrounding the facility).

The Open Women’s event (8-10 Dec) will have alcohol available in compliance with the Host Club’s liquor licence – no BYO permitted. In accordance with National Policy, the Youth Women and Girl’s event will be a tobacco and alcohol free event.

May I bring my pet to the venue?
Yes, however, your pet must be leashed at all times and under-control. Pets are not permitted in the dugouts or on the playing surfaces.

Can we bring our own shade and seating
Yes. There is only limited seating and shaded areas at the facility so we encourage spectators and players to bring there own seating. Please ensure you are mindful of all other persons when setting up your area.

Are there restrooms onsite?
Yes. There are two  locations, please refer to the site map to see location.  Site map will be included in the official program.

Is there first-aid on-site?
Yes. The first aid officer will be located close to the club house.
