Baseball Queensland is pleased to welcome David Pa Baseball Queensland is pleased to welcome David Paddison AM as our new Deputy Commissioner.David joined the Board following his election at the 2025 Annual General Meeting, bringing extensive experience across leadership, governance, community service and sport.His professional background spans the defence industry and tertiary education, complemented by a long-standing association with baseball and a strong understanding of the people, clubs and communities that make our sport possible.We also recognise and thank David Badke for his service as Deputy Commissioner and look forward to his continued contribution as a member of the Board.

How many teenagers give up their Saturdays, Sunday How many teenagers give up their Saturdays, Sundays and spare time to score a sport they don't even play?Meet Isabel Lamb. 👏⚾Isabel is a fantastic example of the young volunteers who make baseball possible. Always smiling, always willing to help and always ready to step in, she brings an incredible attitude to every game she scores.She's brilliant with the kids, incredibly organised with her scoring and keeps a close eye on player movements to make sure coaches stay on top of their rotations and game-day responsibilities.Scoring might happen behind the scenes, but it plays a huge role in keeping games running smoothly—and Isabel does it with patience, professionalism and a smile every time.The fact that she continues to give up her weekends to support a sport she doesn't even play herself makes her commitment even more special. 💙Baseball Queensland is incredibly proud to recognise Isabel as our Scorer of the Month and celebrate the contribution she makes to our baseball community.Thank you, Isabel, for giving your time, bringing your wonderful attitude and showing that you don't have to be on the field to make a difference. 👏⚾If you know of someone who is deserving of a shout out, drop them a nomination in our monthly awards and help us celebrate the amazing work they do!Nominations close Monday 17 August! https://www.baseballqueensland.com.au/bq-awards/
