No two athletes are the same. That's why no two of No two athletes are the same. That's why no two offseason programs should be either. This winter, Baseball Queensland's High Performance athletes are undertaking comprehensive physical assessments designed to build a complete picture of their individual needs and potential.Working with our partners at @accelerationaustralia and @the_movement_standard, athletes are being assessed across a range of key growth and maturation markers, mobility, and areas for development rather than tastrength and power measures to identify potential injury risks and uncover opportunities for performance improvement. The testing allows coaches and performance staff to develop tailored training programs for every athlete, targeting specific strengthsking a one-size-fits-all approach.By understanding how each athlete moves, performs and develops, we can prescribe targeted interventions that help reduce injury risk, maximise time on the field and support long-term athletic growth.Research shows that individualised resistance training performed twice per week can reduce injury rates by up to 66%, giving athletes more opportunities to train, compete and continue developing their baseball skills.Over the coming months, we'll be tracking progress against key performance benchmarks, with the goal of improving movement quality, strength, power and overall athletic performance.Because high performance starts long before game day.
