During the week following the conclusion of 2019 State Titles we will be announcing our QLD State Teams. BQ have released their new QLD State Team Selection Policy in addition to one of the assessment tools that will be used when evaluating athletes.
This year we will be announcing the U18 Final Team + Shadows and the U16 squad of 30 players during the week following their State Titles. The U16 squad will be reduced to the Final Team throughout November.
In addition to announcing our QLD Teams, we will be selecting a Development Team from the players available in the U16 and U18 age groups that will tour Japan in 2020 June/ July school holidays. This Team will have access to all resources used in the State Program (Rapsodo, Blast, Driveline etc.) with their program commencing at the end of the Summer Season.
