Come along and enjoy some baseball fun, connect with the local veteran and baseball communities and support your ADF team!

The ADF Diamond Sports Baseball Community Showcase Day brings together Defence members, veterans, families, community organisations and baseball supporters for an afternoon of sport, connection and community participation.

Hosted as part of the 2026 ADF National Baseball Championships, the event is an opportunity to experience Defence sport in an inclusive and welcoming community setting.

The afternoon will feature two showcase games:

4:00 pm — Team Veteran (Invictus Australia) vs ADF Masters

An inclusive baseball game bringing together Team Veteran participants representing Invictus Australia, and members of the ADF Masters team. The game will use modified rules to support different abilities, experience levels and ways of participating.

6:00 pm — ADF All Stars vs Pine Hills

A showcase game featuring selected ADF players against representatives from the host club, Pine Hills Lightning Baseball Club.

Throughout the afternoon, visitors can also explore the Community Village and connect with organisations supporting Defence members, veterans and families. Activities will include family entertainment, partner activations, come and try baseball activities and opportunities to learn more about community and wellbeing.

Whether you are connected to Defence, part of the veteran community, involved in baseball or simply looking for an enjoyable community event, you are welcome to join us.
