DESCRIPTION:2023 QBUA Association Umpire Seminar (2 Days)\nDetails: All aspects of umpiring in the senior baseball league\nLocation:  All Stars Baseball Club\, Hendra\nDates: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th September 2023\nTime: 8:00am – 5:00pm (both days)\nTo Register: Contact your local club \nWhat to wear?\n– Yellow QBUA umpire shirt (if you have one)\n– Suitable running pants\n– Running shoes/cleats; and\n– Hat/cap \nWhat to bring?\n– Water\n– Sunscreen\n– A glove (if you have one)\n– Indicator (if you have one); and\n– Any required medication\nMorning tea and lunch will be provided at the grounds. \nHow much does it cost?\n– on or before 25 August 2023 – $100 per attendee\n– after 25 August 2023 – $150 per attendee\nThis cost does not include a shirt. Should a student wish to purchase a shirt\, they can take-up with a relevant QBUA official on the day. \nIt is your Club’s responsibility to advise your members of the Seminar\, to collect and pay the total to the QBUA. These fees are to be transferred into the QBUA account with the following identifying particulars:\n– Name of your club\n– Total number of persons attending\nFor example: Rome Ravens—11 Therefore\, if these fees are paid on or before 25 August 2023\, the cost would be $1\,100. If paid after 25 August 2023\, the cost is $1\,650. \nShould a member still be accredited and only wish to seek re-accreditation\, they will need to speak with QBUA Development Officer\, Mark Bramwell via email to dev@qbua.org

DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Baseball Queensland Hall of Fame and Awards Dinner will be held 16 September 2023 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor\, Spring Hill and tickets are now on sale for Baseball in Queensland’s night of nights. Anyone interested in attending can secure their tickets at this link: \n2023 Hall of Fame & Awards Dinner Tickets>>> \nThe evening will include the presentation of Queensland State Program Awards\, the presentation of Championship Rings to the 2023 U18 Queensland team and 2023 Youth Women’s Queensland team\, GBL Club Champions Award\, Baseball Queensland volunteer recognition awards and of course any induction to the Hall of Fame as determined by the Hall of Fame voting process (currently underway). \nTickets include a two course meal (dinner and dessert) and complimentary juice and soft drink package with a cash bar available.
