DESCRIPTION:Gold Coast and Brisbane North Navy are preparing to take on the country’s best at the Senior League National Championships. Both teams are carrying the momentum and confidence gained through their impressive State Titles campaigns. \nWith two strong programs representing the state\, Queensland heads into the Senior League National Championships with belief and momentum. \nGold Coast bring championship form and confidence\, while Brisbane North Navy arrive with discipline\, cohesion and a strong foundation of fundamentals. \nDifferent journeys—one shared goal: a chance to represent Australia at the Senior League World Series in Easley\, South Carolina in August. \nThis year’s tournament will be hosted by Blacktown International Sportspark from 13-17 May. \nDiamond 1 will feature a full broadcast with commentary. The squad has been putting in the work and are itching to test themselves against the best teams from around the country.” \nBeyond preparation\, there’s a clear excitement about the opportunity ahead. \n“We’re most excited about competing on the national stage — pulling on the jersey\, playing hard baseball\, and backing each other every inning.” \n With strong competition expected\, the message to players is grounded and clear. \n“Trust your training\, play for each other\, and enjoy every at-bat and every out.” \n And for the supporters back home\, the appreciation is front of mind. \n“Thanks for being right behind us. Your backing gives the boys a real lift\, and we’ll do our best to represent Queensland with pride.” \n\nGold Coast: Confidence Driving Championship Ambitions\nFresh off a State Titles victory\, Gold Coast head into Nationals with confidence and clear ambition. \nHead Coach Connar O’Gorman says the group is ready for the challenge. \n“Our team is feeling really good after State Titles\, full of confidence and ready to go for Nationals. Winning State Titles has done wonders for our group.” \nPreparation has mirrored their successful lead-in to States\, with a strong training routine underpinning their approach. \n“We’ve been working out three times a week\, making sure all our players are ready and have everything they need to be successful.” \nFor O’Gorman\, the excitement lies in both development and the unknown. \n“I’m really looking forward to seeing our athletes grow and continue to develop.
