What is baseball5?

Baseball5 is a fast-paced, five-on-five urban version of baseball and softball developed by the World Baseball Softball Confederation.

Instead of using a bat, players strike a rubber ball with their hands. Teams alternate between batting and fielding, aiming to score runs while preventing the opposition from scoring.

The game can be played indoors or outdoors on a suitable surface, making it ideal for schools, community spaces, recreational programs and social competitions.

Baseball5 is designed to make baseball and softball more accessible by removing many of the equipment and facility requirements of traditional formats.
